The development of the architecture is the main guidelines for TailorCrete and the whole construction sector. The history of modern construction shows, that innovative engineering often is achieved when architects suggests new demands for the building designs.
The review of trends in digital architecture involves exploring the potential of parametric design tools available today on the basis of which a catalogue with examples of digital architecture of singular concrete structures in CAD format will be prepared. This catalogue will be used as inspiration to create examples of a digital architecture in CAD format of which some will be used during the research in the WPs dealing with formwork, reinforcement and SCC and some will be manufactured in full scale in WP7. In addition to the catalogue, the architects/designers will select a suitable case study to be used in testing the concept of TailorCrete.
